The LED in a light bulb stands for a light emitting diode (LED). They are often used in lighting settings. The market of the bulbs is seeing rapid growth and is bided to only grow faster.  Though their prices lie on the high end, slowly and steadily the prices of LED are coming down, thus they are making an impact in the mainstream market of light sources. The LEDs are available in a number of color patterns since most of them emit light of a particular color inherently and to get white light it needs green, red and blue LEDs light to be mixed. Also due to the small size of the bulbs, it makes them easier to be fit in fixtures.

All in all, the LED light bulbs are an important part of every light setting. While they have ample uses in everyday fixtures, they are mostly popular in festival times. Due to their inherent lights of different color emitting feature, they become a major part of decorations. They can also be used as night lamps and lights due to their unidirectional light beam feature.
